What was once simply a dining area is now a space designed for gathering.

In a home without a formal dining room, this room needed more definition and intention. We introduced custom built-in cabinetry and a window seat to create architectural presence while adding valuable storage—transforming an open area into a true destination within the home.

Wainscoting was extended to echo the millwork in the main entry, creating a sense of continuity and craftsmanship throughout. The existing custom window panels were thoughtfully reimagined into a tailored treatment that better complements the new built-ins. A one-of-a-kind dining table, crafted to comfortably seat eight, anchors the room, while newly selected chairs—scaled to suit the larger table—bring balance, comfort and proportion.

The result is a dining space that feels layered, intentional, and ready to host everything from weeknight dinners to meaningful celebrations.
